Title - CRZRC seeks concession in fare for Shirdi visitors

Kopargaon : The Central Railway Zonal Railway Committee (CRZRC) has demanded concession in fares for travellers of second class visiting Shirdi shrine on special occasions.A resolution seeking concession up to fifty per cent for the commuters of second class and sleeper coach was passed by the Committee at its meeting presided over by the general manager and chairman of CRZRC Subodh Jain.Among other resolutions, Ashok Khambekar, former trustee of Saibaba Sansthan, was appointed as the member of the committee.Khambekar said the ministry of railways could give concession to passengers visiting Shirdi on occasions like Ram Navami, Guru Purnima, Diwali, Christmas and New Year.The committee also demanded additional security at Kopargaon and Shirdi railway stations as the shrine is on the hit list of terrorists.
