Title - 3 fleeing dacoits run over by train in Andhra Pradesh

Three dacoits were run over by a train as they jumped out of another moving train in Visakhapatnam early on Sunday.The incident took place at Chintala Agraharam village of Pendurthi block. The dacoits were trying to escape the Railway Protection Force after looting passengers.Railway Superintendent of Police M Kantha Rao said a 10-member gang had entered an AC compartment of the Kolkata-Hyderabad East Coast Express and looted passengers of cash and valuables. They snatched a bag containing Rs.20 lakh from a Kolkata-based software businessman and stabbed him when he resisted.The dacoits tried to escape when an armed railway police squad, which was alerted by the passengers, entered the compartment.On jumping out, three of the dacoits were run over by the Falaknuma Express coming from the opposite direction on an adjacent track.The injured businessman was shifted to hospital for treatment.
