Title - Trains to Kanyakumari, Chennai to be diverted temporarily

Some south-bound trains that start from Mumbai and pass via Pune will be diverted for facilitating track doubling work on the Gooty-Cuddapah section. The stations that fall in the Gooty-Cuddapah section includes Tadipatri, Kondapuram, Muddanuru, Yerraguntla and Kamalapuram.
    The Central Railways issued a press release stating that the South Central Railway has undertaken work between Kondapuram and Tadipatri stations due to which trains to Kanyakumari, Nagercoil and Chennai will have to be diverted.
    Accordingly, 16381 Mumbai-Kanyakumari express leaving Mumbai will be divertedto run via Gooty,Dharmavaram, Bengaluru City, Coimbatore till October 5. Similarly, theKanyakumari-Mumbaiexpress(16382)willbedivertedto run via Coimbatore, Bengaluru City, Dharmavaram, and Gooty till October 5.
    The Mumbai-Nagercoil express (16351) leaving Mumbai on September 25, 29 and October 2 will be diverted to run via Gooty, Dharmavaram, Pakala, Tirupati, Renigunta. The Nagercoil-Mumbai express (16352) leaving Nagercoil on September 27, 30 and October 4 will be diverted to run via Renigunta, Tirupati, Pakala, Dharmavaram, Gooty.
    The 12163/12164 Dadar-Chennai Egmore-Dadar express will be given extra halts at Muddanuru, Kamalapuram and Nandalur during this period. Similarly, the 11041/ 11042 Mumbai-Chennai Central-Mumbai Express will be given extra halts at Rayalcheruvu, Pullampet, Obuluvaripalli, Anantarajupet during this period, the release said.
