Title - Second pilgrimage train to leave for Ajmer Sharif today

The second train, under Mukhya Mantri Teerth Darshan Yojna will leave for Ajmer Sharif today. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will felicitate pilgrims at Habibganj railway station before flagging off the train.

A total of 977 elderly pilgrims from Bhopal, Hoshangabad and Ujjain divisions would leave for the journey to Ajmer Sharif. The train carrying pilgrims to Ajmer Sharif would leave Habibganj railway station in the afternoon and would halt at Ujjain and Ratlam stations.

Return train would leave Ajmer on September 15 and reach Bhopal after halting at Ratlam and Ujjain. Pilgrims from Bhopal and Narmadapuram division would board the train at Habibganj railway station, pilgrims from Ujjain, Dewas and Shajapur at Ujjain railway station and those from Ratlam, Mandsaur and Neemuch districts would board the train at Ratlam.

Ajmer Sharif pilgrimage journey includes 48 pilgrims from Rajgarh district, 71 from Vidisha, 244 from Bhopal, 63 from Sehore, 58 from Raisen, 18 from Betul, 16 from Harda, 25 from Hoshangabad, 110 from Ujjain, 81 from Shajapur, 78 from Dewas, 72 from Ratlam, 61 from Mandsaur and 32 from Neemuch. As many as 21 attendants will be on the train to accompany the pilgrims to assist them.

The persons who have applied but not selected for Ajmer Sharif pilgrimage this time need not apply again as their applications have been considered for the next pilgrimage journey to Ajmer Sharif.
