SCR Warns Miscreants Indulging In Stone Pelting on Trains
..
Several incidents of stone pelting by miscreants o­n trains are taking place over the network of South Central Railway. In some instances , the Loco Pilots manning the locomotives of the trains as well as passengers travelling in the trains have sustained severe injuries o­n account of being hit by the stones pelted by miscreants.
In view of the same, SCR appeals to the members of the public not to indulge in stone pelting o­n trains as this may cause fatal injuries to the passengers travelling in trains.
Miscreants indulging in stone pelting are liable to be punished summarily under section 152 & 168 of Railways Act.
