Title - Rs 510 bribe lands ASI in jail, costs Rs 10,000 fine

New Delhi : Taking a bribe of Rs 510 five years ago has proved costly for a Railway Protection Force official with a Delhi court sentencing him to two and half years in jail and imposing a fine almost 20 times the bribe amount. While awarding the jail term to to 59-year-old RPF Assistant Sub-Inspector Jai Bhagwan, Special Judge B R Kedia also imposed a fine of Rs 10,00 on him.
