Title - RAIL NEWS CENTER: Additional coaches for Podhigai Express

Southern Railway will augment Train No.12661/12662 Chennai Egmore-Sengottah- Chennai Egmore Podhigai Express trains by one AC 3-tier and one second class sleeper coaches.

A statement said that Train No.12661 Chennai Egmore-Sengottah Podhigai Express would be augmented with additional coaches with effect from Saturday.

Train No.12662 Sengottah-Chennai Egmore Podhigai Express would be augmented with the coaches with effect from Sunday.

One extra coach

Besides, the following trains have been temporarily augmented by one extra reserved second class sitting coach for one month.

Train No.22623 Chennai Egmore-Madurai Express would be augmented with the additional coach from September 14 to 28 and Train No. 22624 Madurai-Chennai Egmore Express would have the additional coach from September 15 to 27
