Title - Order reserved on plea to quash Mishra murder trial

The Supreme Court on Tuesday reserved orders on a plea to quash the trial in the L.N. Mishra murder case on account of an extraordinary delay of 37 years.

A Bench of Justices H. L. Dattu and C.K. Prasad had commenced the hearing on July 25 on the petition filed by advocate Ranjan Dwivedi (65) seeking the quashing of the trial against the former Railway Minister in the 1975 murder case.
