Bhubaneswar: East Coast Railway (ECoR) to build Bhubaneswar, Puri station at cost of Rs. 416 crore. This was informed by the East Coast Railway General Manager Indra Ghosh here on Saturday.

He said Railway to transform Bhubaneswar railway station into a World Class Station by undertaking major renovation at a cost of Rs 205 crore. Ghosh said that the construction of New Bhubaneswar station is underway between Mancheswar & Barang. With the help of state-of-the-art technologies, the entire station building, platforms and adjoining areas would be given a completely new look besides substantially enhancing various passenger amenities and facilities.

He said that renovation of Puri & BBSR stations to be completed before Nabakalebara. Amount of Rs. 416 cr to be invested in Bhubaneswar, Puri & Malatipatapur stations.
