Hyderabad: Heavy rains that lashed Hyderabad and other parts of Andhra Pradesh since Monday, have disrupted normal life. Rains since late last night resulted in water-logging at various localities in the city and traffic snarls.

Trains have been stopped after tracks were flooded at several places, especially in the Warangal division; many trains have been delayed, cancelled or stopped midway on the Kazipet-Vijayawada railway track as well.

Many important trains such as the Grand Trunk Express, Tamil Nadu Express are running late by 11 hours. Railway authorities have arranged buses for passengers.

Six fishermen who went out to sea missing and search operations are on. The weather office has predicted that the downpour would continue on Tuesday too.
