Title - Baggage scanners for Kolkata Metro security

With a view to beef up passenger security as a part of introducing integrated security system (ISS), Metro Railway – Kolkata has procured 23 X-Ray baggage scanners. These baggage scanners will be installed at all the 23 metro stations, said a press statement issued by Metro Railway.These devices will be helpful in detecting prohibited material kept in the baggage of commuters and help ensure safety of the metro users.These baggage scanners will be operational in all metro stations by the end of this month.
