Title - Try the new beta version of IRCTC website

IRCTC has launched the new website with various added functionality. The beta version of the website is in its initial 15 days trial period and offers more user friendly interface. Navigation within the website has been made easier so are the simplified features. Here are the new significant updates on the new IRCTC website -

  • You can check availability of seats without logging in.
  • The font size can be selected for comfortable viewing experience.
  • Filters has been used to classify trains class-wise, destination -wise, train -wise, timing wise and quota wise. User can choose any of these filters to find the perfect matching trains.
  • Information like train name, source station, terminating station, distance between stations, departure time, arrival time and journey time will be displayed on single screen.
  • Wait list prediction has been added in case confirm seats are not available.
  • Different colour schemes are used to display different types of information.
  • Navigation on the website has been optimized for desktops, tablets and mobiles.
