Title - Railways to add coaches to clear rush

To clear the ensuing dasara and diwali rush South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to attach an additional sleeper class coach for four trains and an additional AC 3-tier coach for two trains temporarily.

According to a press release issued by South Western Railway from Oct 5 to Nov 30 an additional sleeper class coach each would be attached  to Tata-Yesvantpur Weekly Express (train number 12889) that starts from Tata on Fridays and Howrah-Mysore Weekly Express (22817) that starts from Howrah on Fridays. Similarly from Oct 8 to Dec 9 Yesvantpur-Tata Weekly Express (12890) that starts from Yesvantpur on Mondays would have an additional sleeper coach. Mysore-Howrah Weekly Express (22818) that starts from Mysore on Mondays would have additional coach from Oct 8 to Dec 3.

It also said an additional AC 3-tier coach would be attached from Oct 3 to Nov 28 to Howrah-Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam Weekly Express (12571) on Wednesdays and from Oct 5 to Nov 30 for Sri Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Howrah  Weekly Express (12572).
