Title - Enquiry ordered over food complaint of Duronto Express

IRCTC has ordered an enquiry into a complaint raised by a passenger of 12246 Yeswantpur - Howrah Duronto Express. The passenger complained about the quality of food served to him in the train.

According to IRCTC Group General Manager (east zone) Debasish Chanda, 23 passengers were served the same food. The complainant may not have liked the taste, however the served food was definitely not stale.

Chanda ensured an enquiry against the complaint. 

The passenger who complained about the quality of food normally travels in higher class but this time he was travelling in sleeper class due to non-availability of tickets. This may have led to his not liking the taste of the food served to him in the particular class, an official said.
