Title - Southern Railway granting 5% bonus to users of UTS on Mobile App

Southern Railway has now enabled all stations to use paperless / UTS tickets through Mobile App over its jurisdiction. Railway has got positive response from travellers for the the facility. On an average, 3% of total unreserved passengers book tickets through mobile App. The user can quickly book tickets using the APP and can travel by showing the ticket in the mobile itself. Payment mode has also been made flexible by providing payment options like R-Wallet, Credit or debit cards.

To promote UTS based ticketing, an additional bonus of 5% will be extended to all the mobile booking customers when they recharge their R wallet. For instance, if a passenger recharges his R wallet for Rs.1000/-, his wallet will be credited with Rs.1050/- and he can book tickets for value upto Rs.1050/-.
