The South Central Railway has introduced the “Book Your Meal” scheme enabling passengers’ to book meals or breakfast of their choice during the to and fro journey in 14 different trains that have side venting facility.

SMS or phone call

Passengers can book the meals soon after boarding the trains through a SMS or phone call to the respective contractor.

The food would be served at the time and station opted by the passengers.

The contractor would supply the food to passengers at their berths or seats and price of the meals and breakfast are fixed by the terms and conditions of the contract, said an SCR spokesperson, on Tuesday.

In case of any inconvenience, passengers can lodge their complaints through a SMS on 81212-81212 phone number, written complaint to respective station master or over online, he explained.
