Title - North central railway addressing health issues of staff

ALLAHABAD: The North Central Railway administration is taking various measures for the welfare of railway employees and their families. In this connection, health department of NCR is undertaking several steps for solving health related problems of employees and their families.

In order to cater to the heath related problems of the railway employees posted as line staff in far flung areas, North Central Railway regularly organizes various multi-purpose medical camps at various places. In this connection, multi-purpose medical camps were organised at Agra divisional hospital and Agra Fort railway station on April 3 and 20. Further, two multipurpose medical camps were organized at TM Shop, Fazalganj and Mirzapur medical centre on April 11 and 19. Further, another medical camp was organised at Dabra railway station coming under the Jhansi division of NCR.

In these medical camps, numerous railway employees and their family members turned up and their medical examination was done.

In addition to this, a medical camp on asthma is being organised on second Tuesday of every month. Further, Group C and D railway employees were imparted training on First Aid planning and checking. About 10,000 children of below 5 years of age were administered polio drops on April 15 and 20. In addition to this, facility of X-Ray was provided at the Subedarganj medical centre.
