Vijayawada railway division has bagged the General Manager’s Efficiency Shield for Telecom Wing, and Best Senior Divisional Signal and Telecom Engineer Award to the in-charge of signal and telecom wing during the Railway Week Celebrations, held at Secunderabad, on Wednesday.The ‘remote video enquiry system’ and ‘electronic reservation chart’ displayed by the division under the supervision of Divisional Railway Manager Pradeep Kumar and Additional DRM S. Subba Rao, have contributed for winning the award, said the SCR officials.
