Title - Rajiv Chowk metro station to remain open during Beating Retreat ceremony on Tuesday

The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) today said that train services would be available at the Rajiv Chowk station on Line 2 (Jahangirpuri-HUDA City Centre), between 3 pm and 6 pm, during the Beating Retreat ceremony, tomorrow.   This is in partial modification of an earlier announcement on January 23, when it had said that the Rajiv Chowk station would be closed during the ceremony at Vijay Chowk.   The Patel Chowk, Central Secretariat, Udyog Bhawan and Race Course stations will, however, remain closed during this period, as announced earlier, a press release from DMRC said.   However, interchange of passengers from Line 2 to Line 6 and vice versa will be allowed at Central Secretariat, it added.
