Title - Railway fly over opened

The construction of the Kukatpally - Hitech city fly over is over at last to be opened for public today.

The inauguration is done by the Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana and State Minister Maheedhara Reddy in place of the Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy.  As the Chief Minister is busy at Delhi and could not return as per the schedule, the opening ceremony was done by the Ministers on his behalf.  

The bridge which was originally sanctioned in 2007 got delayed due to many reasons and caused traffic problems in the area particularly in the rush hours during the morning and the evening time.  

The road connecting Kukatpalli and the Hitech city encountered the problem of crossing the railway tracks on the way.  First the railway authorities did not approve the original design, then there is shortage of steel of required quality in the market and again shortage of funds when the material was available and so many hurdles of that sort was overcome with the efforts of Loksatta party that has a strong political hold in Kukatpalli.
