INDORE: The only train announced last year in the 2012-13 Union railway budget between Indore and Yeshwantpur Express (train number 19037) is awaiting a green signal from Commissioner Railway Safety (CRS). Public relation officer, Ratlam division, Pradeep Sharma said that general coaches for the train have already arrived in Indore a fortnight ago and the regular train is likely to be operational by April end. "CRS has to certify the safety of these general coaches," he said adding that it is only after this certification that the regular train would start running.Meanwhile, divisional railway manager (DRM), Ratlam circle, Lokesh Narayan inspected platforms number 1 and 5 of Indore railway station. He said that train number 19310/09 Indore-Ahmedabad-Gandhinagar Shanti Express will be improved on lines of Shan-e-Bhopal train."The train will have highest cleanliness standard," he added. |
