Title - Volunteers of scouts and guides provide water to railway passengers

ALLAHABAD: The volunteers of scouts and guides started the campaign for providing water to passengers at the Allahabad railway junction on Tuesday. The campaign was inaugurated by state secretary and deputy chief material manager of North Central Railways BC Tripathi at platform number 1 of Allahabad railway junction by giving water to passengers of Mahananda Express.

Tripathi asserted that it was a very noble work and volunteers of scouts and guides do this work with utmost sincerity and devotion. This campaign also started at the stations of Mirzpapur, Tundla, Aligarh, Hathras and Chunar stations. This campaign would also start at other stations also.

During the programme, station manager Girish Kanchan was also present. The above programme is being conducted under the supervision of Rajbali Sharma, Avtar Singh and Santosh Kumar.

In addition to this, railway administration has also formed drinking water monitoring cell at major stations of NCR which would make efforts for providing water to the passengers of the various trains at stations.
