Title - Pre-paid taxi booth at New Delhi railway station a Popular among passengers

The scary prospect of haggling with auto drivers who refuse to charge by the meter and exorbitant taxi fares seem to have worked together to ensure the success of the pre-paid taxi booth recently introduced at New Delhi Railway Station.

Since its launch on May 9, officials say the booth, which was built closer to the platforms than the older one, has led to a rise of nearly 1.5 times in taxi and three- wheel scooter rickshaw ( TSR) bookings....
