A new Indore - Rewa tri-weekly train is likely to begin by this month end, while the AC double-decker intercity between Bhopal and Indore might get delayed.
As per official sources talks for running these two trains which was announced in the union railway budget is in its last leg between authorities of the western railway and west central railway
There is presently a tri-weekly train plying between Rea and Ashok Nagar and its unused rack is available for use on four days. The train departing from Indore as 11704 would head for Rewa every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday
Starting at 4 am from Indore it would reach its station at 10.30 pm. On its return journey as 11703 the train would ply on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday.
Starting at 5 pm from Rewa the train would reach Indore at 8 pm.
The train route would have it passing through Indore, Dewas, Ujjain, Maksi, Bairagarh, Vidisha, Beena, Khurai, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Rewa.
The first double decker train in this region awaited with eager anticipation also plying between Indore and Bhopal, however, seems getting delayed.  Railway officials conceded that lack of coaches for constituting a rack and lethargy on the paer of western central railway officials has caused deferment.
