Title - Holi special trains between LTT and Pernem to be introduced between March 14-30

MUMBAI: Central Railway will run 12 special trains between LokmanyaTilak Terminus and Pernem to clear extra rush of passengers during the Holi festival.CR spokespesons said, " Train No. 01017 Dn Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.55 am (after midnight) on every Thursday and Saturday from March 14 to 30 (6 trips) and will arrive Pernem at 12.00 am same day.On its return trip, Train No. 1018 Up Special will leave Pernem at 1.10 pm on every Thursday and Saturday from March 14 to 30 (6 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 12.20 am next day.The train will halt at Thane, Panvel, Roha (for 01017 only), Khed, Chiplun, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Rajapur Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal and Sawantwadi.The composition of the train includes, One AC-2 tier, One AC-3 tier, 7 Sleeper class, 6 Second class and 2 General second class cum Guard's brake vans.The reservation bookings for these trains have opened from March 11 onwards.
