Title - Hoax bomb call delays Hampi Express

Bangalore-bound Hampi Express was stopped for two hours at Gadag railway station after a hoax call to railway staff in Hubli said that a bomb had been placed in the train. According to sources, a person called the Hubli railway station stating that a bomb has been kept in an AC coach of the Hampi Express and it will explode by 10.30pm, when the train reached Bellary. The train had just passed Annigeri station when call was received.Railway officials immediately passed on the message to Gadag police, who stopped the train at Gadag station. A joint team consisting of railway protection force, government railway police and dog squad of Gadag district police searched the whole train thrice but failed to locate the bomb.
