Title - Extra coaches for Shatabdi to clear summer rush

Bangalore : The South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to augment with an additional second class AC chair car temporarily for train nos 12079 / 12080 Bangalore City-Hubli Jan Shatabdi Express from April 1 and June 30 (in both the directions), for clearance of extra rush in summer.

Express special: A one-way express special from Yeshwantpur to How­rah will run on March 12. Accordingly, train no 06543 Yeshwantpur-Howrah one-way express will depart from Yeshwantpur on March 12 at 11.55 pm and arrive at Howrah on March 14 at 12.30 pm.En route, the train will arrive/depart at KR Puram, Bangarpet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Renigunta, Gudur, Vijaywada, Duvvada, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar and Bhadrak. The  one-way express special will have total 20 coaches, 19 general second class coaches and one second class luggage-cum-brake van.

Temporary stoppage: The North Eastern Railway has informed the South Western Railway that they will be providing a two-minute temporary stoppage at Pokhrayan station for a period of six months, with effect from March 11, 2013.Accordingly, train no 15015 Gorakhpur-Yeshwantpur weekly express will arrive / depart at Pokhrayan station at 2.19 pm / 2.21 pm. In the return direction, train no 15016 Yeshwantpur-Gorakhpur weekly express will arrive / depart at Pokhrayan station at 3 am / 3.02 am.
