Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh met Union Urban Development Minister Kamal Nath to discuss proposed mono rail project in Shimla, in New Delhi on Saturday. State Urban Development Minister Sudhir Sharma was also present in the meeting.Detailed discussions were held on Rs5,000-crore “Shimla Mono Rail Project”. This project would be the first of its kind in a hilly State. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has been asked to carry out detailed survey and prepare Feasibility Report within six months.Kamal Nath assured the CM of full support to the State in sanctioning this ambitious project. | ||
