There is good news for the resident of Chandigarh and those living around as new Shatabdi train will start from January. The train will have thirteen couches in the beginning and will start at noon from Chandigarh and its return journey from Delhi will begin at 71.15.   Union Minister for Railways Pawan Kumar Bansal, who was speaking to media persons here at Chandigarh railway station after alighting from Shatabdi on Saturday said,  "though I cannot give you the exact date but new Shatabdi will begin in the month of January." Besides, he said that the railway ministry was also considering the demand of people to start train from here to holy city Amrisar.    Stressing upon the need of cleanliness on railway stations, a project would be started to keep the railway station clean soon and 100 stations with ten lakh population of a city and of religious importance had been identified for this, said the minister adding that he had shot off a letter to the general managers of the regions to this effect.
