Title - 7 kg sandalwood bars seized from passenger’s baggage at Chennai Central

The Railway Protection Force on Monday seized unaccounted sandalwood bars from a woman, who was about to board the Coromandel Express to Kolkata, at the Chennai Central.According to Inspector Alagarsamy, the baggage of Janaki from Vyasarpadi raised suspicion and was checked. The sandalwood bars, weighing about 7 kg, were confiscated.The case has been handed over to the Forest Range Officer for further investigation.
