Title - 676 Checks conducted by South Central Railway on 69 Employees found responsible

An intensive drive has been launched by South Central Railway throughout the Zone to find and eliminate irregularities in areas of public interface like Reservation Offices, Booking Offices, Parcel Offices, Trains and Platforms etc,. This drive was conducted from February 1 to 10, 2018 in which a total number of 676 checks were done.

Out of 676 checks 298 checks were done in Booking Offices, 122 in Reservation Offices, 77 in Parcel Offices, 108 in Trains and 71 checks  were done in Platform on Hyderabad, Vijayawada,Secunderabad, Guntur, Guntakal and Nanded divisions.

The Vigilance Drive covered all the major stations o­n the Zone involving officers of Commercial, Security and Vigilance departments. During the drive, 69 employees were found to be responsible for irregularities observed and action is being initiated accordingly.
