KOLKATA : Six trains of Ranchi Division of South Eastern Railway were diverted on Monday afternoon due to derailment of a goods train between Suisa and Torang stations in Purulia district.According to a SER spokesperson, 32 wagons and two engines of the train were derailed at around 2.15 p.m. when it was coming from Jabalpur. This had led to the diversion of six trains and short termination of one train on Chandil-Muri single line section.The diverted trains include Howrah-Hatia Express, New Delhi-Puri Neelachal Express, Jammu Tawai-Tatanagar Express, Tata-Jammu Tawai Express, Bhunaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express and Tata-Hatia Passenger. Barkakana-Tata Passenger was short terminated at Muri station and it would run from Muri while returning, the spokesperson added. |
