AJMER: One of the members of the 463 Pakistani group that reached Ajmer on Wednesday for the Urs is found missing.According to intelligence bureau sources, the final counting of the Pak delegation held at Old Delhi station showed that 463 people had boarded the Ajmer-bound train. However, only 462 have reached Ajmer, leaving officials jittery.They are now coordinating with their Delhi, Attari counterparts to identify the missing delegate."We are in touch with officials at Attari border and Delhi to clear the confusion," said Kailesh Dan Ratnu, ASP ( CID), Ajmer. He said only 462 Pakistani pilgrims had reached Ajmer whereas information was that 463 took train tickets in New Delhi. Official records show the team bought 463 tickets at Old Delhi station as well as at Attari station. However, Ratnu said they were not been able to identify the missing person and efforts were on in this direction. IB officials said that they had received a scanned copy of the list of the Pak delegation from Attari railway station but it was difficult to read the list. "We have requested that they send the list again," he added. |
