Title - 4 accidents in less than 12 hours - reports Railway

 Railway has reported 4 accidents within 12 hours killing at least 7 people besides several injuries. The alarming point Is that out of four accidents 3 accidents occurred in Uttar Pradesh and the other one accident occurred in Odisha.

 Out of 4 accidents 2 were derailments. Out of all four the one major accident that caught the highlight and attention of country was derailment of Vasco da Gama Patna express near Manikpur railway station. Before this accident a train engine rammed into a car after getting decoupled from the wagon. This accident occurred at an unmanned crossing.

 At 7:19 p.m. yesterday a Bolero jeep was crushed at an unmanned crossing near Amethi in Uttar Pradesh.   In less than 2 hours of Manikpur derailment a goods train also jumped off the tracks between Gorakhnath and Raghunathpur in Odisha at 5:55 a.m. This train was carrying coal.

Fourth accident occurred when the engine of Jammu Patna Archana Express got separated near Saharanpur from the train. This separation occured 2 times after the attachment of the engine. However train finally left at 7:25 a.m after security clearances.
