Mysore : Mysore division of south western railway launched a drive against ticketless travel on July 26.A team of commercial officers of the division assisted by ticket checking staff and personnel from Railway Protection Force conducted the fortress check at Nanjungud town railway station.As many has 57 cases, including 28 for ticketless travel were booked, netted a penalty revenue of Rs 12,510. To help Railways to put an end to this social evil, authorities have urged the rail users to always travel with proper authority and avoid being prosecuted and fined, according to a press release from divisional commercial manager V Sudhakar Naik. |
