Title - Train assault condemned

Activists of the Mysore Kannada Vedike staged a demonstration on Monday in protest against the “barbaric” act of a few men who pushed a young woman out of a moving train near Maddur. The activists also criticised the Railways for its failure to provide security to passengers.

The vedike urged the authorities to deploy teams of the Railway Protection Force even in passenger trains.
