Title - 125th anniversary of rail station

Union Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal will inaugurate the 125{+t}{+h}anniversary celebrations of the Kozhikode Railway Station on January 2, 2013.Chief Minister Oommen Chandy and Transport Minister Aryadan Mohammed will also take part in the function. The logo of the celebrations will be released on December 8 by Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, Mullappally Ramchandran.Railways have planned year-long celebrations. A heritage marathon, involving top atheletes, will be held. Students could travel for free from Tirur to Vadakara as part of ‘rail yatra.’. A film festival will be held from April 16 to 21.— Staff Reporter
