AHMEDABAD/VADODARA: The train services between Ahmedabad and Mumbai were badly affected for the second consecutive day following heavy rains in Vadodara, Bharuch and most parts of south Gujarat.On Tuesday, 11 trains were cancelled after water level at the railway bridge between Palej and Miyagam in the Vadodara division started flowing above the danger mark. Many trains were moving late by nearly three to four hours.Some long distance trains bound for northern, central and eastern part of the country were diverted via Ratlam and Bhopal. The trains that were cancelled were Mumbai Central - Ahmedabad Double Decker, Bandra (T) -Ahmedabad, Shatabdi Express, Surat Intercity Express, Bhilad-Vadodara Express, Vadtal Swaminarayan - Bharuch Passenger, Ahmedabad - Bandra (T), Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad - Borivili. |
