Title - NRMU to holds protest on March 5 at DRM office, Ferozpur - JK Newspoint Newspaper Jammu Kashmir

Northern Railway Mens Union (NRMU) has staged a protest against railway authorities as well as central government in favour of their demands and announced they would launch a massive protest at DRM office, Ferozpur on March 5. The employees alleged that the railway authorities are not paying any attention towards their demands which they highlighted many times to the concerned authorities. "Earlier we expressed our frustration through hunger strike but nothing has been done up to now", they alleged while staging protest at Jammu Railway Station.

We also brought to light our demands in permanent negotiable meetings (PNM) with DRM but authority seems least bothered towards our genuine demands, they maintained. The employees were demanding including pay band of technical staff of railway should be increase 1900-2400, private hospital should be established at per station for employees families, proper maintenance of Railway quarter, 2.5 lakh vacate posts should be filled, jobs should be provided to the unemployed and others demands.
