Title - More train coaches to clear summer rush

The South Western Railway will temporarily augment the Bangalore-Chennai-Bangalore Shatabdi Express with second class air-conditioned chair car from April 8 to June 30 to clear the summer rush. With the augmentation, the train will have 14 coaches.

Similarly, additional AC 3-tier coach and one additional AC-2 tier coach have been provided temporarily for Howrah-Yeshwantpur-Howrah Duronto Express to cater to the vacation crowd since April 1. The coaches will be provided till April 30.

Several trains have been regulated to eliminate level crossing. Bangalore-Hubli fast passenger will be regulated for 80 minutes at Chikkajajur on April 9. Bangalore-Hubli fast passenger will be regulated by eliminating level crossing for 80 minutes between Byadgi and Haveri stations April 25 and April 27. Hubli-Chitradurga passenger will be regulated for 40 minutes at Haveri station on April 25 and 27.  Arasikere-Hubli passenger will be regulated to eliminate level crossing for 90 minutes at Karajgi station on May 2 and May 4 between Karajgi-Savanur stations.
