Title - DRM inspects Fort railway station

Manjula Rangarajan, Divisional Railway Manager, conducted surprise inspection of Tiruchi Fort railway station on Tuesday evening prior to taking up of development works. Accompanied by the top officials of the division, the DRM visited various parts of the station and held discussion with them on their execution. Tiruchi Railway Division has planned to extend the platform numbers 1, 2 and 3 to accommodate 24 coaches and improve the surface of the platforms by providing vacuum dewatering concrete. It has also been planned to renovate and strengthen the existing foot overbridge at Fort station at a cost of Rs.13 lakh.
