Title - Suburban train services affected between Ambattur and Avadi of Chennai section

To facilitate engineering works between Ambattur and Avadi in Chennai section; Southern Railway will take a line block in this section. This block will affect suburban train services accordingly - 
 
The following suburban train services will be dealt o­n fast line from Villivakkam to Pattabiram West Siding - 

  • Train number 43257 MMC – Thiruvallur EMU local, scheduled to leave MMC at 11:45 PM o­n March 20 and 21. 
  • Train number 43001 MMC – Avadi EMU local, scheduled to leave MMC at 12:15 AM o­n March 21 and 22. 
  • Train number 43801 Chennai Beach – Arakkonam EMU local, scheduled to leave Chennai Beach at 01.20 AM o­n March 21 and 22. 

 Note that these trains will not stop at Korattur, Pattaravakkam, Thirumullaivoil, Annanur, Hindu College and Pattabiram railway stations. 
 
Avadi – Pattabiram passenger special EMU departing Avadi at 01:10 AM on March 21 and 22 will be dealt o­n fast line from Avadi to Pattabiram and hence will not stop at Hindu College railway station.
