Title - Sri Vinay Mittal, Chairman, Railway Board Visits Secunderabad and reviews SCR’s performance

Sri Vinay Mittal, Chairman, Railway Board, New Delhi reviewed the performance of South Central Railway with Sri G.N.Asthana, General Manager, South Central Railway and other senior officials at Rail Nilayam, Secunderabad today i.e., 16th October 2012.
While appreciating the performance of SCR o­n several fronts, the Chairman, Railway Board directed SCR authorities to continue the Intensive Drives against Ticket less Travelers. He also directed to launch focused campaign and joint checks by Railway Protection Force (RPF) and Government Railway Police (GRP) against Carriage of Fire Crackers / Inflammables in the Trains, in the interest of Passenger Safety, especially in view of the ensuing festival season.Earlier, Sri Vinay Mittal, along with Sri Kul Bhushan, Member Electrical, Railway Board, Sri G.N.Asthana, General Manager, SCR and Sri V. Ramachandran, Director General, Research Designs & Standards Organization (RDSO), Lucknow inspected the trials of Train Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) going o­n between Tandur – Mantatti – Nawandgi Stations o­n Secunderabad – Wadi Section of the Zone.
