Title - SCR Special Trains and Extra Coaches – July 2013

South Central Railway, undoubtedly among the most passenger-friendly Railway zones of the Indian Railways, has announced a slew of special trains and extra coaches to be added to existing popular trains to clear waitlisted passengers, cater to the extra rush of passengers and to provide more traveling amenities to passengers. Most of coach additions will be for trains running through Andhra Pradesh only.

ONE additional AC First Class-cum-AC 2-tier Coach for the train from Hyderabad from July 1 and from Tiruvananthapuram from July 3 until July 17.
17405/17406 Tirupati – Adilabad – Tirupati Krishna Express
ONE additional Chair Car and Sleeper Class coach on the train from Tirupati from July 1 and from Adilabad from July 2 until July 17.
12797/12798 Kacheguda – Chittoor – Kacheguda Venkatadri Express
ONE additional AC 2-tier coach from 1st July 2013 for the trains in both directions until July 17.

ONE AC 3-tier coach from Rajkot from July 2 to 15 and from Secunderabad from July 4 to 17.
17002/17001 Secunderabad – Sai Nagar Shirdi – Secunderabad Express
ONE AC 3-tier coach o­n July 5 and 12 from Secunderabad and on July 6 and 13 from Sai Nagar Shirdi.
Permanent Augmentation of 12738/12737 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Gautami Express
12738 Gautami Express leaving Secunderabad will have ONE additional Sleeper Class coach added permanently from July 2.
12737 Gautami Express from Kakinada Town will have ONE additional Sleeper Class coach added permanently from July 3.
New Composition of the Gautami Express: ONE AC First Class-cum- AC 2-tier coach, ONE AC 2-tier coach, TWO AC 3-tier coaches, 15 Sleeper Class Coaches, 3 General Second Class Coaches and 2 SLRs
With this addition, train No. 12738/12737 Secunderabad – Kakinada Town – Secunderabad Gautami Express will have 24 coaches in total and will join the elite club of 24 coachers of the Indian Railways! 24 Coaches congratulates Gautami Express on this!
