Railway Junior College, Lallaguda, emerged the Champions at the 58th Inter Junior Colleges Athletic Meet for Boys, organized by the Hyderabad District Schools / Junior Colleges Games Federation for under 19 years which concluded today. The meet was held atGovernment College of Physical Education, Gagan Mahal, Hyderabad.Similarly, the girls team of the same College clinched the Runners Up Team Championship at the meet. Master. G Sairam has bagged the Individual Championship by emerging as winner in 100Mts, 200Mts and 400Mts running races etc.

Important Results:- The winners are G.Sai Ram in 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x400m Relay, J. Pandu in 800m, 1500m, P.N. Durga Prasad in Long Jump, Triple Jump, and P.N. Savinkumar in High Jump, 5km walking.In the girls section, the winners are G.Ashwini in 800m, Srilatha in Triple Jump, M.Pragathi in Javelin Throw and C.V. Pravalika in Hammer Throw.

A Total of 13 Students, 7 Boys and 6 Girls have been selected to represent in the State level Athletic Championships to be conducted by Andhra Pradesh State School Games Federation / Junior Colleges under 19 yearsfrom 9th to 11th November 2012 at Kurnool.
