Title - New Weekly Train between Bangalore-Mangalore-Karwar

Ministry of Railways has now announced the introduction of new weekly Trains (16523/16524) between Yesvantpur-Mangalore Central-Karwar express on Konkan Railway Route for its valuable passengers. Train No. 16523/16524 will run as a Daily train on regular basis.According to the Press Release, the trains will halt at Bangalore, Mandya, Krishnarajanagar, Holenarasipura, Hasan, Sakaleshpura, Subramanya Road, Kabakaputtar, Bantwal, Mangalore Central, Thokur, Surathkal, Mulki, Udupi, Barkur, Kundapura, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Bhatkal ,Murdeshwar, Kumta, Gokarna and Ankola stations.The Train No.16523 will operate on 17/10/12 from Yashwantpur. In the reverse direction Train No.16524 will operate from Karwar on the next day 18/10/12.The train will have 13 coaches, including one two-tier AC and three-tier AC, eight sleepers, one General and two SLR coaches.
