Title - Heritage Rail terminal at Kacheguda Railway station gets a new feel of Passenger amenities

Kacheguda Railway Station has taken giant strides in terms of going modern with its passenger facilities and amenities. Built in 1916 as the headquarters of the Nizam’s Guaranteed State Railways, this magnificent icon of Railways conveying the architectural grace of the Indian and Gothic styles has completed 100 glorious years of service and has reinvented itself to give the best experience to thousands of rail users each day. Now the headquarters of Hyderabad division of South Central Railway, Kacheguda station has seen the provision of best facilities to passengers besides in the aspect of cleanliness and beautification. 
The various facilities and works commissioned for providing better amenities and comfort to passengers at Kacheguda include -
- App based Cab facility (Call/Radio Taxi) awarded to M/s OLA Cabs
- Pre-paid Auto Booth.
- ‘NavRaS’ App, for facilitating navigation to various passenger facilities on Platforms of Kacheguda station.
- ‘Rail Station Info’ App to provide complete information about various passenger amenities available at Kacheguda.
- Electronic Train information & Coach Guidance Boards at the entrance, Platforms & FOBs.
- Electronic Reservation Chart Display System & Touch Screen Passenger Operated Enquiry Terminus (POET) in PRS complex.
- 5 Automatic Ticket Vending Machines (ATVMs), 2 Coin operated Ticket Vending Machines (CoTVMs) are provided to reduce long queues at Booking Counters.
- Lifts & Escalators o­n all platforms
- Provision of complete cover over sheds on all Platforms.
