Title - Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express to not to run via diverted route

Earlier Southern Railway announced that a line and power block will be taken on March 14 and March 28 to commission second broad gauge line between Kalpattichatram – Tamaraipadi railway stations in Madurai Division. Due to this block Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express train was to run via Karur between Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul.

However, Railway has cancelled the block on both the dates therefore Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express will run on its usual route between Tiruchchirappalli and Dindigul.
