Title - Artificial intelligence to maintain hygiene in IRCTC's food

Indian Railways will technologically upgrade its catering system to help passengers with more hygiene in food. Also IRCTC wants to use biodegradable wrapping and environment-friendly food containers.

To begin with, IRCTC has installed high definition cameras with AI vision detection in all its 16 base kitchens in New Delhi.

According to officials, this system can detect cockroach or any rodent in the kitchens. Moment after detection, the report of this foreign object will reach in real time to various stakeholders right till the IRCTC Managing Director.

Also, this AI system can also send a real time report if any of the kitchen staff is not wearing mandatory cap or proper dress. If the matter is not addressed within 15 minutes, it will further be reported to IRCTC authorities in charge.
