Title - 4 new DEMU trains to help passengers during peak rush hour traffic

Four diesel-operated new suburban train services have been introduced from Banaswadi to Baiyappanahalli, via Bellandur. These new sub-urban trains will allow daily commuters to save time during peak rush hour traffic. These trains will also provide direct access to Namma Metro Phase 1 network.

Train number 06571 will depart  from Banaswadi at 09:50 AM in the morning while train number 06573 will depart at 12:40 PM in the noon. These trains will arrive Hosur at 11 AM and 1:45 PM respectively.

Enroute stations are -
Baiyappanahalli, Bellandur Road, Carmelaram, Heelalige and Anekal Road.

Along with DEMU train services, MEMU (Mainline Electric Multiple Unit) train services will connect to KSR Bengaluru station. These trains will depart from KSR at 07:50 AM and will arrive Baiyyappanahalli at 08:15 AM.

It must be note that MEMU trains are already very popular among daily commuters. As many 2400 passengers travel daily in eight coaches of this MEMU train.
